Lucky 888 $1 Bill

Those of you who know me personally are very familiar with my fascination with the serial numbers on currency and how I hoard bills with significant numbers.

The 888 $1s are printed by the department of the Treasury specifically as good luck notes around Chinese New Years. Its the only special repeating number notes they intentionally make and they're made in a limited series each year.

Numerologically, the number 8 is believed to hold the powers of creation and destruction.  Appearing in triplicate, it carries the energy of regeneration (creation - destruction - creation), which makes these bills special.
